Glacial Lakes Conservancy envisions a legacy of permanently protected lands and land-use policies that sustain and enhance a regional quality of life defined by the beauty and productivity of its working lands and natural resources.

As land trust, Glacial Lakes Conservancy may participate in local land use planning & zoning committees and encourage resource protection policies. Please contact us if your Town or County has an interest in this type of participation.

A land trust, as a qualified charitable organization, may serve as a partner with municipalities that have a Purchase of Development (PDR) or Purchase of Agricultural Conservation Easements (PACE) program.

A land trust can encourage conservation partnerships & projects.
